MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University junior Alyssa Campbell picked up another River States Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for her performance Sept. 28-Oct. 4. It was her second conference accolade of the season.

A product of New Brighton, Pa., Campbell ran a time of 18 minutes, 40 seconds for second place at the Huntington (Ind.) Invitational. She was the top performer of the RSC competitors in the race, and she finished in between a couple of runners from NAIA No. 7 Huntington at the top of the individual leaderboard.

The season-best, 5,000-meter time for Campbell helped the Pioneers to fourth place as a team. That was best among the three RSC schools represented at the meet. Point Park will be in action Oct. 24 at the Midwest XC Challenge hosted by Taylor (Ind.).
