Oakland City's Knox named RSC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Oakland City (Ind.) University junior Megan Knox earned River States Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Nov. 2-8.
The Tulsa, Okla., native is a center back for the Mighty Oaks. She anchored the defense in a 3-0 win over Brescia (Ky.). That game included just three shots and none on goal for the opposition.
Oakland City is 2-5-1 overall, 1-5 RSC and will play at Asbury (Ky.) and host Point Park (Pa.) this weekend.
