Rio Grande's Tadic named RSC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- University of Rio Grande guard Miki Tadic had a 30-point game to claim River States Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 9-15.
Tadic, a sophomore from Hilversum, Netherlands, poured in 33 points in an 87-78 win over Goshen (Ind.). That included making 11 for 16 from the field, 6 for 10 from beyond the arc and 5 of 6 free throws. Tadic also grabbed five rebounds in the only game of the week.
Rio Grande is 1-1 on the year and has its next scheduled game Nov. 17 at No. 12 Marian (Ind.).
