MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The 2020 River States Conference Volleyball Championship qualifiers and seeds have been announced with the completion of the regular season on Nov. 11. The eight-team championship will be held Nov. 14-21 at campus sites around the conference.

The top four teams from each of the RSC East and West Divisions qualified for the championship. The quarterfinals will be Nov. 14, the semifinals will be Nov. 18, and the championship final Nov. 21. The higher seed will host each match throughout the championship, and the home team's fan attendance policy will be in place. The champion will earn automatic qualification to the NAIA National Championship in the spring.

Indiana University Kokomo is the No. 1 overall seed in the championship, and they are already guaranteed a spot in nationals as the RSC regular-season champion. The Cougars are 15-0 overall, 13-0 RSC and the champions of the RSC West Division. The Cougars will host No. 4 seed Point Park (Pa.) University from the RSC East in the quarterfinals Nov. 14.

WVU Tech is the No. 2 seed from the RSC East Division, and it will host in the quarterfinals IU Southeast, the No. 3 seed from the RSC West. The winner will move on to play the winner of IU Kokomo-Point Park in the semifinals.

Indiana University East is the other No. 1 seed in the championship as the RSC East Division champion. The Red Wolves are 11-0 overall, 10-0 RSC and are the top seed on their side of the bracket. IU East will host RSC West No. 4 seed Brescia (Ky.) University in the quarterfinals Nov. 14.

Midway (Ky.) University is the No. 2 seed from the RSC West Division, and it will host No. 3 seed University of Rio Grande (Ohio) from the RSC East in the quarterfinals. The winner will advance to the semifinals versus the winner of IU East-Brescia.

The NAIA Volleyball National Championship begins April 17, 2021 with the NAIA National Championship Opening Round. The RSC Championship winner will qualify automatically. If IU Kokomo goes on to win the RSC Championship, the tournament runner-up will receive the RSC's second national bid.
