Midway's Seely selected for RSC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Midway (Ky.) University thrower Loren Seely had a high finish in the shot put to claim River States Conference Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for Feb. 17-23.
A Bloomfield, Ky., native, she finished fourth of 22 competitors in the shot put at the Rick Meindl Last Call in Capital, Ohio. She did so with a toss of 11.70 meters. That was a personal best and increased her previous mark of 11.05 when she took a bronze medal at the RSC indoor meet.
