Carlow's Miller 3-peats as RSC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Carlow (Pa.) University junior Olivia Miller kept her claim on River States Conference Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 27-Feb. 2. It is the third week in a row she's won the honor.
Miller, from Bolivar, Pa., qualified for the NAIA indoor national championship in the pentathlon with her performance at the YSU Mid-Major Invitational. She racked up 3,059 points to qualify and set three school records in the process That put her third of 21 athletes at the NCAA Division I meet. She also competed in the triple jump placing 12th with a distance of 10.89 meters.
Miller and the Celtics will be at the RSC Indoor Track & Field Championships Friday, Feb. 7 at Tiffin, Ohio.
