NAIA DII MBB National Championship tips off March 11 with 3 RSC teams

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The 2020 NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship will tip off on Wednesday, March 11 with three teams from the River States Conference in the bracket. The 32-team national tournament is taking place at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The three first-round matchups for the RSC entrants are all NAIA Division II Top 25 matchups from the final rankings before the tournament. All three of the RSC qualifiers were awarded No. 5 seeds and take on No. 4 seeds from their respective brackets.
No. 22-ranked IU Kokomo (26-7, 13-3 RSC) gets the RSC contingent started with a matchup versus No. 12-ranked Madonna (Mich.) (25-8) in the first round on Wednesday, March 11 at 6:45 p.m. ET
No. 17 WVU Tech (23-8, 15-1 RSC) is the first of two RSC teams playing on Thursday, March 12 with a matchup versus No. 13 Grace (Ind.) (19-12) at 2:45 p.m. ET
No. 20 IU East (23-10, 14-2 RSC) plays No. 15 Southeastern (Fla.) (23-8) on Thursday at 6:45 p.m. ET to round out the opening games from the RSC.
IU East is making its eighth appearance in the national tournament coming off its fourth RSC Championship title. WVU Tech is making its fourth nationals appearance and qualified as the RSC regular-season champion. IU Kokomo, in the national tournament for the second time, earned an at-large bid to make it three teams from the RSC.
