Brescia's Morejon scores RSC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Brescia (Ky.) University midfielder Javier Morejon scored five points in three games to claim River States Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 14-20. The award was for his performance so far this season.
Morejon, a freshman from Havanna, Cuba, had two goals, one assist and five points in the three games for the Bearcats. He scored points in every game, including a goal in a 2-0 win at Taylor (Ind.). His goal gave Brescia a 1-0 lead in an eventual 2-1 loss to St. Francis (Ind.). Morejon also had an assist in a loss to Williams Baptist.
Brescia will play St. Mary of the Woods (Mo.) on Sept. 23.
