IU Southeast's Burman picks up RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University Southeast senior Kenna Burman was named River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week Sept. 14-20. The recognition was for her performance so far this year.
Burman, a libero from Arcadia, Ind., collected 13 digs in the season-opening win over Oakland City (Ind.) this past Thursday. The win over the RSC newcomers came in a 3-0 sweep for the Grenadiers with Burman averaging 4.33 digs per set.
Burman also had three aces to aid the victory and did not have any passing errors in nine attempts. IU Southeast is 1-0, 1-0 RSC and will play Asbury (Ky.) on Sept. 25.
