Midway's Miller scores RSC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Midway (Ky.) University guard Donnie Miller averaged 30.0 points per game in two contests to garner River States Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 4-10.
A 6-3 sophomore from Newport, Ky., Miller scored a combined 60 points in two games as the Eagles split a pair. He upped his RSC-leading scoring average to 23.3 ppg by shooting 51 percent from the field and making 7 of 20 treys. Miller also averaged 3.5 assists per game.
Miller started out with 33 points, four assists and four treys in a loss to Boyce (Ky.). He finished up with 27 points, three assists and three more treys in a win over Oakland City (Ind.).
