Brescia's Moss reaches milestone, picks up RSC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Brescia (Ky.) University senior Cassidy Moss surpassed the 1,000-career point milestone with a huge game and thus was named River States Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 18-24.
Moss, a 5-8 native of Marion, Ky., poured in 31 points in a victory over Campbellsville-Harrodburg to reach the milestone. She made it a double-double with 10 rebounds as well as three steals and two assists. Moss connected on 11 of 15 field goals, made 2 of 3 from long range and was perfect from the foul line at 7 for 7.
Brescia's next game is Tuesday, Jan. 26 at Alice Lloyd (Ky.).
