IU East's Visscher tabbed RSC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University East goalkeeper Alex Visscher keyed a conference win and thus was named River States Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Oct. 4-10.
The junior from Muskegon, Mich., made eight saves in the Red Wolves' 3-2, overtime win over Brescia (Ky.). In the only game of the week, IU East picked up and big win and handed the Bearcats their first conference loss. Visscher played all 103 minutes in the victory.
IU East will be going to WVU Tech on Oct. 16.
