Jones repeats as RSC Women's Golfer of the Week for IU Kokomo
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University Kokomo senior Brandi Jones remained on fire and claimed another River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week honor for Oct. 11-17. It was her second weekly award in a row and her third one this fall season.
Jones earned her latest honor for placing second at the Battle at Stonehenge hosted by Grace (Ind.) College. She shot rounds of 75 and 76 to play the 36 holes at 7-over 151 for the tournament. That was just two strokes off the lead. Jones has placed in the top three of a tournament for the fourth time this fall, which included a win at the RSC Fall Preview two weeks ago.
The Cougars finish out the fall season Oct. 22-23 at the Huntington Chariot Run Challenge.
