IU East's Klipstine picks up RSC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University East junior Chance Klipstine led the Red Wolves at the Jenna Strong Fall Classic to claim River States Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week Oct. 11-17.
The Ansonia, Ohio, native ran the 8,000-meter race at Wilmington (Ohio) College in a time of 28 minutes, 5 seconds. That was for a team-best 79th place out of 325 runners in the big meet. There were a total of 33 teams in the standings.
The Red Wolves will be at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge Oct. 23.
