Rozier claims RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week for Point Park (Pa.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park University middle hitter Jazlyn Rozier had 14 blocks on the week to earn River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week Oct. 18-24.
The senior from Monroeville, Pa., put up six blocks in a 3-1 win over IU Southeast and then had seven more in a 3-0 loss to Midway (Ky.) the next day. She averaged 1.56 blocks per set when including the 3-0 win over Carlow to start the week.
Rozier also added 17 total kills on the week and a .244 attack percentage. She scored 25.5 points in all. Point Park improved to 13-9 overall, 8-5 RSC with its 2-1 record on the week. The Pioneers travel to Ohio Valley (W.Va.) on Tuesday.
