Alderton named RSC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week from Brescia (Ky.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Brescia (Ky.) University junior Bree Alderton earned her third River States Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honor with her performance Oct. 18-24.
The Owensboro, Ky., native won her fourth title in as many races this year with a first-place finish in the white race at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge. She had a time of 17 minutes, 55 seconds in the 5K, which knocked 23 off her previous career best time. There were 247 runners and 36 teams in the race.
Next up for Brescia is the RSC Championship Nov. 6 at IU East.
