RSC CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW:

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The 2021 River States Conference Men's Soccer Championship bracket is set with the completion of the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 30. The six-team championship will be held at campus sites across the conference Nov. 6, 10 and 13 with the winner moving on with automatic qualification to the NAIA National Championship.

University of Rio Grande (Ohio), ranked No. 14 in the NAIA with a record of 14-2-1 overall, completed an undefeated conference season at 9-0 RSC with Saturday's 1-0 win over Brescia (Ky.) University. The RedStorm are the No. 1 seed and received a bye into the semifinals where it will host on Nov. 10 at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Brescia (9-6-1, 6-2-1 RSC) earned the No. 2 seed in the bracket and will also have a bye into the semifinals. The Bearcats will host Nov. 10 at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The RSC Championship starts on Nov. 6 with the quarterfinals. No. 3 seed Oakland City (Ind.) University (10-5-1, 6-3 RSC) will host No. 6 Indiana University East (5-11-1, 5-4 RSC) at 3:00 p.m. ET.

The other quarterfinal matchup is No. 4 seed WVU Tech (9-6-2, 5-2-2 RSC) hosting No. 5 St. Mary-of-the-Woods (Ind.) College (8-4-2, 5-3-1 RSC) on Nov. 6 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

The Oakland City/IU East winner will move on to play at No. 2 Brescia. The WVU Tech/St. Mary-of-the-Woods winner will advance to play at No. 1 Rio Grande. The finals are set for Nov. 13 at the highest remaining seed.

RSC Championship qualification was based on a point system to determine the standings. Three points were awarded for each RSC victory and one point for each conference tie.

All games of the RSC Men's Soccer Championship will be streamed at the RSC Game Central presented by Stretch Internet.
