RSC CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW:

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- With the completion of the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 30, the qualifiers and bracket are set for the 2021 River States Conference Women's Soccer Championship. The six-team championship will be held Nov. 6, 10 and 13 at campus sites around the conference with the winner earning an automatic qualification to the NAIA National Championship.

Ohio Valley (W.Va.) University (11-1-1) stormed through its first year in the RSC with a perfect conference record of 11-0 RSC to claim the No. 1 seed in the bracket. The Fighting Scots received a bye into the semifinals where they will host on Nov. 10 at 1:00 p.m. ET

University of Rio Grande (Ohio) (10-5-2) is the No. 2 seed with a record of 10-1 RSC. The RedStorm's only conference loss was 3-2 in overtime versus Ohio Valley. Rio Grande also has a bye into the semifinals and will host Nov. 10 at 3:00 p.m. ET.

The RSC Championship begins on Nov. 6 with the quarterfinals. No. 3 seed Indiana University East (10-6-1, 8-2-1 RSC) will host No. 6 seed Oakland City (Ind.) University (8-8-1, 4-6-1 RSC) at 3:30 p.m. ET.

The other quarterfinal matchup features No. 4 seed Point Park (Pa.) University (7-7-3, 6-2-3 RSC) hosting No. 5 Indiana University Kokomo (6-8-2, 6-4-1 RSC) at 1:00 p.m. ET.

The IU East/Oakland City winner will move on to play at No. 2 seed Rio Grande. The Point Park/IU Kokomo winner will advance to play at No. 1 Ohio Valley. The finals will be Nov. 13 at the highest remaining seed.

RSC Championship qualification was based on a point system to determine the standings. Three points were awarded for each RSC victory and one point for each conference tie.
