RSC VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW
KOKOMO, Ind. -- The 2021 River States Conference Championship bracket and qualifiers are set with the completion of the regular season. The eight-team championship will be held Nov. 12-13 at Indiana University Kokomo with the quarterfinals on Friday and the semifinals and finals on Saturday.

IU Kokomo (25-8, 16-1 RSC) won the right to host the championship as the RSC West Division champion. The Cougars are also the RSC Regular Season Champions and have already secured an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship.

The top four teams from each of the RSC East and West Divisions qualified. The bracket pits teams from opposite divisions in the quarterfinal round.

No. 1 overall seed IU Kokomo begins the championship on Nov. 12 at 9:00 a.m. versus University of Rio Grande (Ohio) (12-14, 10-8 RSC), the No. 4 seed from the RSC East.

Indiana University East (19-11, 14-4 RSC) is the other No. 1 seed as the RSC East champion. The Red Wolves play the second quarterfinal of the day at 12:00 p.m. versus No. 4 Oakland City (Ind.) University (11-15, 7-10 RSC) from the RSC West.

Midway (Ky.) University (22-3, 14-3 RSC) claimed the No. 2 seed from the RSC West and will take on No. 3 seed WVU Tech (15-17, 11-7 RSC) from the RSC East on Friday at 4:00 p.m.

Point Park (Pa.) University (17-10, 12-6 RSC) is the No. 2 seed from the RSC East and plays Indiana University Southeast (17-11, 12-5 RSC), the No. 3 seed from the RSC West, on Friday at 7:00 p.m., the last match of the day.

The semifinals are Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for IU Kokomo's side of the bracket and 12:30 p.m. for IU East's half. The finals are 7:00 p.m. Should IU Kokomo go on to win the RSC Championship, the tournament runner-up will receive the conference's other automatic bid to nationals.
