Oakland City's Tallada earns RSC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Oakland City (Ind.) University midfielder Jorge Tallada had three points in a playoff win ot earn River States Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Nov. 1-7.
Tallada, a freshman, had a goal and an assist in the Mighty Oaks' 3-0 victory over IU East in the RSC Championship quarterfinals. He scored the eventual game-winner in the eighth minute to set the tone. Tallada later assisted on Connor Shields' tally in the 76th minute to put the game away, 3-0.
No. 3 seed Oakland City advanced to play at No. 2 Brescia (Ky.) in the semifinals on Nov. 10.
