IU East's O'Leary scores RSC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University East midfielder Shelby O'Leary had two goals in a playoff victory to secure River States Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Nov. 1-7.
A freshman from Fairfield, Ohio, O'Leary scored two first-half goals the Red Wolves' 3-0 win over Oakland City (Ind.) in the RSC Championship quarterfinals. She scored in the sixth and 15th minutes to send IU East on its way.
O'Leary scored on both of her shot attempts on the day. The victory advanced the No. 3 seed Red Wolves on to play at No. 2 Rio Grande (Ohio) in the semifinals Nov. 10.
