Lechner wins RSC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Carlow

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Carlow (Pa.) University freshman Keri Lechner swept three sprinting events last weekend to earn the River States Conference Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Feb. 1-7.

The Wampum, Pa., native won the 60 meters, 200 meters and 60-meter hurdles at the Ohio Christian University Trailblazer Invitational. Her performance led the Celtics to the team title in the standings.

Lechner won the 60 meters with a school--record time of 7.96 seconds. Her win in the 200 came with a personal--best time of 27.50 seconds. The hurdles win came with a time of 9.21 seconds.

Carlow will be at the Indiana Tech Classic on Friday.
