Oakland City's Zlatar picks up RSC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Oakland City (Ind.) University freshman Teodor Zlatar was unbeaten in four matches to pick up River States Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for March 8-14.
The native of Croatia was 2-0 in his two singles matchups and 2-0 in doubles as well. That came in a pair of matches as the Mighty Oaks went 1-1 on the week.
Zlatar won, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and 6-3 in No. 1 doubles during a 7-0 shutout of Kentucky Wesleyan. Despite a loss to Martin Methodist, Zlatar teamed up for a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles and earned a 6-4, 7-5 win at No. 1 singles.
