IU East's Beam named RSC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University East sophomore Sincere Beam was named River States Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for his performance March 1-7.
The native of Shelby, N.C., was the Red Wolves' top field performer at the season-opening meet, the Southern Wesleyan Invitational. Beam competed in the triple jump posting a distance of 12.33 meters for 11th place at the meet.
Next up for IU East will be the Emory (Ga.) Invitational March 19-20.
