No. 11 IU Southeast's Tanksley gets RSC Baseball Player of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- No. 11-ranked Indiana University Southeast had catcher Brody Tanksley hit .455 over four games to earn River States Conference Baseball Player of the Week for March 1-7.

Tanksley, a senior from Bedford, Ind., was 5 for 11 with a double, a homer and five RBIs on the week. That included a win over Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) and a three-game sweep of Rio Grande (Ohio). He also picked up five walks and slugged .818 for the week.

Tanksley was 2 for 3 with a homer and three walks in the win over Lindsey Wilson. He was 3 for 8 with a double and four RBIs on the weekend versus Rio Grande.

IU Southeast is 9-11, 3-0 RSC and will host Lindsey Wilson on Wednesday.
