IU East's Rush selected RSC Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University East sophomore Kaniyah Rush earned River States Conference Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for her showing March 1-7.
The Romeoville, Ill., native was the Red Wolves' top track finisher at the first meet of the season, the Southern Wesleyan Invitational. There she ran the 200 meters in a time of 27.15 seconds to place 14th of 48 entries.
IU East will have its next meet March 19-20 at the Emory (Ga.) Invitational.
