Oakland City's Baltazar nets RSC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Oakland City (Ind.) University freshman Andre Baltazar is the River States Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for April 5-11.
The native of Peru won both of his matches as part of a 4-3 victory over IU East, the only match of the week for the Mighty Oaks. The victory improved Oakland City to 4-3 overall and 2-2 RSC for third place in the league.
Baltazar is now 5-3 on the year in singles by winning at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-1 versus IU East. He was a part of the No. 1 doubles win of 6-2 and is now 7-1 in doubles for the year.
