MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University East defender Brooke Conway and forward Kimberly Trapp claimed the River States Conference Women's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Player of the Week awards for their play April 5-11.

Conway, a senior from Noblesville, Ind., was the key cog in the Red Wolves defense that produced two shutouts in the RSC Championship -- 1-0 over WVU Tech and 3-0 over Asbury for the title. Theh defense allowed just two shots on the goal and 10 shots overall combined in the two wins.

Trapp, a freshman from Mt. Vernon, Ohio, scored the game-winning goal in each of the playoff victories. Her tally versus WVU Tech stood up as the only goal of the game. She scored the first of two first-half goals to send the Red Wolves on their way versus Asbury. Both goals came from long distance.
