IU East's Wisecup claims RSC Women's Golfer of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University East junior Jo Wisecup won the Asbury Invitational to claim River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week March 29-April 4.
A native of Enon, Ohio, Wisecup shot 5-over 77 in the final round to rally from six shots back and take the medalist title. IU East was second of eight teams in an event that also featured Midway and host Asbury from the conference. Wisecup shot two rounds in the 70s as she opened up with a 79 on her way to her first-career win.
