Point Park's Beardsley gets another RSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week honor
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- For the third time this season, Point Park (Pa.) University senior Nicholas Beardsley is the River States Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The recent honor is for his start from April 26-May 2.
Beardsley, a right-hander from Torrance, Calif., did not give up an earned run over 7.0 innings of a 10-1 win over Oakland City (Ind.). He struck out 13 and walked just one in the game that went nine innings.He scattered six hits, and the only run he gave up was unearned.
