River States Conference COVID-19 Update 9/16

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio- With the spread of COVID-19 still very much a concern, the River States Conference recommends that all persons attending any event follow CDC guidelines as well as any local or state mandates. All RSC members have agreed to abide by local or state mandates when visiting other members for a River States Conference contest, and teams may at their own discretion implement more restrictive policies than are required.

Operating in five states and 14 localities, the NAIA and River States Conference recognize member autonomy in setting their own protocols for responding to the situation in their localities. Tracking the ever-changing situation is a daunting task, so for that reason, we highly recommend that you visit each school's website prior to travel. You can do so quickly by clicking on the school's logo above or on Members from the menu.

At this time, the River States Conference Office has not been informed of any mandates or requirements for outdoor sporting events. Social Distancing and wearing of masks when in close proximity continues to be advised.

For indoor sporting events, the following schools have indicated that face coverings are being required for all persons entering facilities used for these events.
