Offenberger takes home RSC Women's Golfer of the Week from Ohio Valley
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Ashley Offenberger from Ohio Valley (W.Va.) University was selected the River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for her play Sept. 6-12.
Offenberger, a sophomore from Waterford, Ohio, tied for first place at the Mt. Union Fall Invitational to win the award. In a field of 70 players, she shot an 83 to tie for the top spot. That led the Fighting Scots to second place out of 11 teams at Tannenhauf Golf Course, a par-72 layout.
