MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University Southeast libero Lexie Fisher was selected for River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week for Sept. 20-26, the third time this season and the second week in a row for her to win the award.

Fisher, a junior from Mt. Washington, Ky., compiled 65 total digs in a 3-0 week for the Grenadiers. That included RSC wins over Brescia (Ky.) and Oakland City (Ind.) and an earlier win over non-conference Asbury (Ky.). Fisher came up with 5.91 digs per set and also 15 assists for the week.

The victories evened IU Southeast at 7-7 overall and pushed the Grenadiers to 3-1 RSC. IU Southeast is at Midway on Tuesday.
