WVU Tech's McClanahan picks up another RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- WVU Tech sophomore Julia McClanahan was selected for River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week Sept. 20-26. It is her second weekly award of the season.
The Princeton, W.Va., native dished out 103 assists in three matches on the week. That was for an average of 10.3 assists per set. It was part of a 2-1 week for the Golden Bears, who lost to IU East but followed that up with sweeps of Ohio Valley (W.Va.) and Ohio Christian.
McClanahan also tallied 18 digs and a couple of service aces on the week as WVU Tech improved to 3-2 RSC. Next up for the Golden Bears is at Rio Grande (Ohio) on Tuesday.
