Brescia's Coxon picked for RSC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Brescia (Ky.) University senior Sam Coxon was chosen as River States Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for his play Aug. 30-Sept. 5.
Coxon, from England, picked up the Bearcats' only goal in a 2-1 loss to Georgetown (Ky.), the only game of the week for Brescia. It was his second game in a row with a goal. Brescia is 2-2 on the year and will play at Kentucky Wesleyan on Sept. 8.
