IU Kokomo's Jones selected RSC Women's Golfer of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University Kokomo graduate student Brandi Jones earned a tournament victory to claim River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week Sept. 6. The award included all events prior to Sept. 5 as the first honor of the year.
The Peru, Ind., native won first place at IU East Fall Invitational by shooting even par over 36 holes Sept. 3-4. Jones opened up with 1-under 71 and finished with 1-over 73 to win by six stokes. It was her seventh career tournament victory, and she was the only player at par or better.
