Point Park's Jebose takes home RSC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University jumper/vaulter Sophie Jebose won the first River States Conference Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week of the year. The award is for all events so far this indoor season and was named Jan. 17.
A junior from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Jebose has two jumps and a pole vault ranked highly in the conference, all of which came this past weekend at Marietta. Her season-best effort of 10.79 meters in the triple jump is ranked No. 1 in the conference. She is second in the RSC in the pole vault at 2.85 meters and third in the long jump at 4.98 meters.
Point Park will be at the YSU College Invitational on Jan. 21.
