Jones gets another RSC Women's Golfer of the Week honor
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Brandi Jones from Indiana University Kokomo was the medalist at the RSC Fall Preview and thus was chosen as the River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Oct. 3-9.
She came back with a strong round of 76 over the final 18 holes to win the two-day tournament by one stroke. She opened up with an 82 on the par-72 layout of Belterra Resort and then climbed the leaderboard on the final day. Her effort of 158 over 36 holes put IU Kokomo in fourth place as a team out of eight schools. It is the third time this fall she's won the conference weekly honor.
