Alderton gets RSC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Breanna Alderton from Brescia (Ky.) University is the River States Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Oct. 3-9.
The senior from Owensboro, Ky., won the Bearcats' home invitational with a time of 18 minutes, 22 seconds in the 5,000-meter race this past weekend. It was her first race returning to action. There were 103 runners, and she won by 18 seconds in from the next finisher.
