Koester snags RSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Aubry Koester from Midway (Ky.) University had a big week to earn River States Conference Volleyball Attacker of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Oct. 10-16.
Koester, from Apple Valley, Calif., had 60 total kills and 6.00 kills per set in a 2-1 week for the Eagles. She hit .300 for the week to stay in the NAIA lead for kills per set (4.79) and points per set (5.60). She also had 26 digs for 2.60 per set.
Koester had 14 kills, zero errors and a .636 percentage versus Brescia, a 3-0 win. She also had 17 kills, just two errors and a .441 percentage in a sweep of Oakland City. Despite 29 kills and 22 digs, there were a 3-1 loss to IU East.
