Kocis earns RSC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for fourth time
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Midway (Ky.) University sophomore Jacob Kocis is the River States Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Oct. 17-23. It is the second week in a row and the fourth time this year he as won the honor.
The Island Pond, Vt., native continued to break his own school record week after week. He did so again in the NAIA Appalachian Challenge, where he ran 24 minutes, 58 seconds in the 8,000-meter track. That put him in seventh place out of 128 runners. That time beat his previous school record by 29 seconds in the big race.
