Daugherty chosen RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - Midway (Ky.) University senior Pilar Daugherty was named River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Oct. 17-23.
A native of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Daugherty averaged 7.17 assists per set as one of two setters for the Eagles. She amasse 86 assists, 16 kills and 19 digs in a 2-1 week for Midway. She hit .424 on the attack and averaged 1.58 digs per set.
Daugherty had 31 assists, six kills and 10 digs in a 3-1 victory over IU Southeast. She also had 36 assists, five kills, five digs and two aces despite a 3-2 loss to Point Park. Daugherty finished out with 19 assists, five kills, four digs and two blocks in a sweep of Carlow.
