Koester is RSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week again
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Midway (Ky.) University sophomore Aubry Koester has repeated as River States Conference Volleyball Attacker of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Oct. 17-23. It is her second week in a row and third time this year for the award.
A right-side hitter from Apple Valley, Calif., Koester, averaged 4.67 kills per set and hit .327 on the week. In two matches played, she compiled 42 kills with 20 coming in a 3-1 win over IU Southeast along with a .375 percentage. Despite 22 kills, eight digs and three aces, there was a 3-2 loss versus Point Park (Pa.). It is the second big week in a row for Koester, who was the NAIA Volleyball National Attacker of the Week last week.
