Kocis picked for RSC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Jacob Kocis from Midway (Ky.) University earned River States Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Sept. 26-Oct. 2. It's the second time this year he's won the award.
Kocis, a sophomore fro Island Pond, Vt., ran a time of 25 minutes, 20 seconds at the Greater Louisville Classic. That led the Eagles and placed 61st out of the crowded race of 416 runners. That race included 14 NCAA Division I teams and 10 teams ranked in the NAIA Top 25.
