Brewington selected RSC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University East goalkeeper Mary Brewington has been selected as the River States Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for Sept. 26-Oct. 2.
Brewington, a freshman, made five saves in a game and a half of play to help the Red Wolves to a 1-0-1 record in two games on the week. She made four saves in a 2-2 tie versus Rio Grande, a rematch of last year's conference semifinals. She also had a save in a 6-1 win over Brescia, the Red Wolves' first conference win.
