All-RSC Women's Soccer Teams & Awards announced
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The 2022 All-River States Conference Women's Soccer Teams & Awards are announced here at RiverStatesConference.com. The awards were voted on by the 11 head coaches in RSC women's soccer.
Selected were the All-RSC First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention. Also recognized are the RSC Champions of Character Team and the RSC Scholar-Athlete Team.
The first, second and honorable mention teams all included 14 players -- four forwards, four midfielders, four defenders and two goalkeepers.
The RSC Champions of Character Team had one team member nominated by their head coach for best displaying the NAIA Champions of Character traits of respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship.
The RSC Scholar-Athlete Team honored those with a 3.25 GPA or higher who play women's soccer and have been at their current institution for at least two semesters.
Indiana University Kokomo forward Keely Hoopingarner led the honorees as the RSC Women's Soccer Player of the Year and the RSC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year. More individual awards went to the Cougars with goalkeeper Kailee Moore being voted RSC Newcomer of the Year.
Point Park (Pa.) University had Athena Beck selected RSC Defensive Player of the Year and first-year coach Kelly Raddar named RSC Coach of the Year.
