Hunter gets RSC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Julien Hunter from Indiana University Kokomo has been chosen as the River States Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for his play Dec. 5-11.
Hunter, a junior forward from New Albany, Ind., averaged 23.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while shooting 75 percent from the field over two games. Hunter led the Cougars to a pair of conference wins. In a very hot shooting week, he made 18 of 24 field goals.
Hunter put up 17 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Oakland City (Ind.). He erupted for 29 points on 12-for-16 shooting in a victory over Brescia (Ky.)
