Harris snags RSC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for IU Southeast
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Indiana University Southeast sophomore Caleb Harris got a couple of wins from the top of the lineup to secure River States Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week March 7-13.
Harris, from Charlestown, Ind., played at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles during a 6-1 team victory over Hanover. The win brought the Grenadiers to .500 overall on the season at 4-4 and was their only match of the week.
Harris did his part leading the squad with a straight-sets win in singles, 6-2, 6-1. He then combined on a 7-6 win at No 1 doubles. IU Southeast will be at Brescia (Ky.) for its next match March 19.
