Lomax races to RSC Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for Point Park (Pa.)
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park (Pa.) University sophomore Damir Lomax won the 110-meter hurdles and posted four Top 10s at WVU to claim River States Conference Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for the week of March 14-20.
The Sicklerville, N.J., native notched the victory in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.94 seconds. His other placements were third in the 100-meter dash, ninth in the 400-meter hurdles and third in the 4x100 relay.
Lomax had a career-best time of 11.09 seconds in the 100 meters with teammate Daimere Stephens-Stewart taking second. He had a time of 1:11 in the 400 hurdles despite a miscue. The 4x100 squad had a time of 44.41 seconds with Lomax running the second leg.
Point Park will be at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on March 25-26.
