MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- St. Mary-of-the-Woods (Ind.) College second baseman Camryn Scott had a huge week to earn River States Conference Softball Player of the Week presented by Brown & Brown Insurance for the week of March 14-20.

Scott, from Terra Haute, Ind., hit .615 and was 8 for 8 in stolen bases to lead the Pomeroys to a 3-1 record. All of that was in River States Conference play. Scott had eight hits in 13 at bats, hit safely in all four games, scored eight runs and walked twice.

She was 3 for 4 with three runs, an RBI and a stolen base in a 10-1 win over Oakland City (Ind.), which salvaged a doubleheader split. In two wins over IU Southeast, she was a combined 4 for 6 with two RBIs, two runs, two doubles and 5 for 5 in stolen bases.

SMWC is 9-5, 3-1 RSC and will host WVU Tech and (RV) Rio Grande (Ohio) this weekend.
